I began my journey in the UC Riverside Dining department as a team member and grew into leadership roles quickly, eventually becoming the first-ever Marketing Assistant for UCR Dining.
Firstly, my experience as a team lead and scheduling supervisor allowed me to build meaningful connections, shaping me into a strong, creative leader who drove impactful change in operational factors like increasing student safety awareness and increasing the productivity and motivation in our team.
Furthermore, more change can be seen through my branding efforts for new locations that led to a 96% sales boost as well as my creation of the student dining committee that helped give students a voice in the matter of their nutrition & helped improve food quality.
I also spent a lot of time developing marketing assets that maintained brand consistency throughout the department, and crafted compelling email campaigns that helped further connect the department with students' needs. Through strategic social media content, I increased sales by 20% through consistent updates that helped students understand what we were offering them. My time at UCR Dining was defined by innovation, leadership, and measurable success

NEW LOCATION MARKETING | NEW LOCATION MARKETING | NEW LOCATION MARKETING
Social media content & marketing assets for new locations I helped develop for grand opening in 2023-2024.

I played a key role in branding and marketing the new Fry House restaurant at UCR’s campus apartments. To generate excitement for the grand opening, I helped organize pop-up events featuring swag items and gift card giveaways to attract students. Utilizing Instagram stories and dynamic TV screen designs, we successfully promoted the launch, leading to a strong turnout. Post-opening, I continued managing social media, keeping students engaged with updates on new menu items and other important announcements.

I contributed to the branding and launch of NOODS: The Noodle Bar, playing a key role in its marketing strategy. My efforts included freshman presentations to introduce the new location, social media marketing, email campaigns, and survey initiatives (using Survey Monkey) at pop-up events. Through consistent management and engagement, we achieved a successful opening and sustained growth throughout my tenure.
